I think my bathsheba rose has been my most prolific climber and the hummingbirds had a nest in it last year. She went from bare root to 4.5 feet tall with beautiful blooms and the colors were magnificent. Had zero problems with black spot or pests. I used 13-13-13 fertilizer twice once when I planted her in mid-April and again in July and watered her once a week deeply.
